What can I do to help charity for free, other than clicking? What’s the best way to contact ClickEveryDay.co.uk? How does this “free giving” work? 3 simple steps to give to a charity OF YOUR CHOICE, for FREE. 1. Go to the homepage ( www.ClickEveryDay.co.uk ) 2. Click on a charitable advertiser (they're the ones who pay for your donation). 3. Click on which charity you would like the money to go to! Back to Top Back to Top of Section Is it really free? YES! You do not pay anything – all donations come from the charitable advertising. Back to Top Back to Top of Section Do I need to sign up? No – just start clicking away for your favourite good cause. If you would like us to keep in touch with you, you can sign up to our monthly newsletter by going to our homepage and clicking on “Newsletter” and typing in your email address. We promise not to sell or share your email address with third parties. Back to Top Back to Top of Section Will people not abuse this by clicking repeatedly? Many people want to support more than one charity, or want to give extra support to their favourite charity by clicking on it lots of times. People can click as many times as they like, but they must click on a different advertisement each time – there are plenty of advertising boxes being used at any one time, and we might add even more. Back to Top Back to Top of Section How much is each click worth? The way internet advertising works is the more people visiting a website, the more each advertising space is worth. As this site receives more daily visitors and consequently more clicks, the value of each charitable advertising box will increase, and that increase will be reflected in the value of each click. Therefore, to make your clicks even more valuable, you can spread the word by telling your friends and family to ClickEveryDay. Every click is worth 10 points. Therefore, if you click just ten times per you’re your clicks accumulated are worth 100 points. By clicking 100 points, that is enough money to: • Provide 6 school dinners in a developing country • Help a homeless person find a bed for the night • Provide 26 litres of purified drinking water • Buy stationary for a school • Buy medical supplies in a hospice • Contribute to a free mammogram for women in need and much, much more… But why stop at ten clicks, when you can click on all the adverts every day? Back to Top Back to Top of Section Does all the money go to charity? Charitable advertisers decide how much money they donate to charity, from £50.00 upwards. 100% of the figure they decide upon goes to charity – charities which are chosen by anyone visiting the website, just like you. On top of the donation amount the charitable advertiser decides, they must pay an additional administration fee, currently set at 9%. This covers bank charges, the administration of the website, advertising and other overheads. This fee may change if overheads are more than or less than originally forecasted. Back to Top Back to Top of Section How can I trust this website? Each month, the Accounts are publicly displayed for the previous month’s revenue and donations. In one column is the amount advertisers have paid, excluding the administration fee, and in the other column the amount charities have been paid*. These two columns will always total the same amount. Any advertiser who claims to have paid more (excluding the administration fee), or a charity or individual fundraiser which claims to have received less, can complain to feedback@ClickEveryDay.co.uk . *Charities which raise less than £10 pounds in a month will not be paid that month, and the amount raised will be carried forward to the next month. Back to Top Back to Top of Section Can individuals make a donation? Yes – this is a perfect way for individuals to make a donation to charity, especially ones who want their donation to go to many different excellent causes. Back to Top Back to Top of Section Are there any other sites like this? The idea for this site was first thought of in December 2006. Upon launch on March 1st 2007, we did not know of any sites currently offering the concept of donating for free AND to your choice of charity, making us the first to offer this unique concept.
